Firma Clinical Research, a niche service provider to the pharmaceutical and medical device industry, recently named Melissa Nezos as Vice President of Clinical Operations.
In her new role with Firma, Nezos leads project management and clinical operations for the in-home service line. She will develop and implement a strategic plan for clinical operations that supports Firma’s patient-centric vision.
For more than 20 years, Nezos worked in clinical operations and project management for global organizations., including large and mid-sized CROs. In recent years, Nezos brought her extensive clinical knowledge and expertise into the risk-based quality management and risk-based monitoring solutions environment. As an advocate for data- driven and technology-led solutions, she has leveraged her ability to work across operational functions to successfully implement innovative clinical monitoring and data quality strategies.
Prior to joining Firma, Nezos was Global Head of Clinical Operations for Premier Research. She previously served as Executive Director of Clinical Operations-America for Chiltern and Director of Clinical Operations/Director of eClinical Solutions for PRA International.

Nezos holds a master’s degree in psychology and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from San Diego State University.
